Do you have plans for the summer holidays in 2012? Would you like to spend it in Vienna? Gain some lab experience? and get paid? Then apply to the Vienna Biocentre  (VBC) Summer School. The VBC Summer school provides a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to work side by side with leading researchers in a dynamic scientific environment. The school also includes a research project, a bi-weekly lecture series given by faculty, an energetic social calendar, and a scientific symposium at its close. Students will have the opportunity to undertake projects in Neurobioloy, Cell Biology, Biophysics, Gene Regulation, and Disease and Development.

We are seeking applicants who have completed a minimum of two years of university education in any area of the natural sciences. Most importantly, we seek applications from students with an intense curiosity and passion for science. The deadline for applications is 17th of February 2012. Successful applicants will be provided with accommodation, a stipend of €800/month, unlimited travel within Vienna, and travel expenses to and from Vienna.
